The PLM contingent from the College of Architecture & Urban Planning bagged the 2nd place in this national design competition for community housing in the Philippines. The winners were announced on 19 March 2009 after a 3-day jury deliberation of 43 entries from across the country. The PLM entry successfully steered through the elimination round, semi-final and final stages, and bested 41 other entries, including that of the Mapua Institute of Technology (3rd place). This national design competition is a project of the Joint Committee on Housing of the United Architects of the Philippines and the Rotary Makati Central.

CAUP Dean Gil C. Evasco said that the PLM Team is composed of Lea Constancia Cruz, Andrea Jansen Santos, Donna Veronica Rabe, Verna Lucia Sarraga, and Alyanna Ignacio.
