The College of Science has fielded a team in each inter-collegiate contest in Biology and Mathematics.
PLM got the first runner up award, with a prize pot of PhP 3,000, medals and certificates, in the Inter-University Biology Competition sponsored by the Biology Majors’ Association of the University of the Philippines-Manila, with the theme: Magka-BIO 2014.
PLM placed second runner up in the Inter-University Mathwiz sponsored by the Technological University of the Philippines-Mathematics Department and Math Society. The award came with the cash prize of PhP 3,000, medals and plaque).
Both contests were conducted on 28 February 2014.
