Competing with seventy-three (73) universities nationwide, the PLM team was adjudged champion (Service category), 2nd place (Technology) and 3rd place (Food) in the 8th Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA 2014). The judging was held on 09 October 2014 at the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in McKinley Town Center.

Organized by the PCCI, the BIDA had the PLM team consistently landing as winner for three consecutive years prior. The awards ceremonies is slated to be conducted on 23 October 2013 at the Manila Hotel.

The winning team include Clarisa Angelica D. Galang, Jerick Joshua L. Liveta, Fatima M. Beguir, Jessylyn J. Marata, and Eichelle Emmerie E. de Guzman. The team's adviser is Ms. Edna M. Mendoza.
