02 December 2014

Two teams from the College of Mass Communication (CMC) won 1st and 2nd runner up during the Tollways Management Corporation's Infomercial Making Contest last November 21 at Marquee Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga.

The Blacksheep Productions made a road safety campaign entitled "Subtraction" focusing on the statistics of road accidents for 2014 and reminding the public on measures to prevent the same. The mentioned team was declared as the 1st runner-up on the said competition. Meanwhile, "Biyaherong Astig", produced by Osiris Productions, won as the 2nd runner-up, showcasing the do's and don't's on road safety.

Both teams are under the supervision of Radio News Reporter for Radyo Patrol, Mr. Robert Mano, faculty lecturer on Radio and TV Production, and Dean Ludmila R. Labagnoy.

The infomercial making contest is an annual competition headed by the TMC for their campaign to promote transportation safety measures and road courtesy.
