No failure in December 2014 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination

12 December 2014

The College of Engineering & Technology (CET) homed in a smooth victory with a 100% passing rate in the Civil Engineering licensure examination result released Thursday night by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Capping a 5-year intensive academic preparation, twenty-four (24) first-time takers nailed it as among the country's new Civil Engineers. PLM president Ma. Leonora Vasquez-de Jesus noted that this is yet another testament of PLM's high repute as an excellent academic institution. With more innovations in the pipeline, including a process re-engineering to streamline and enhance the University's operations, the University President is ecstatic that these efforts would reap more recognitions for the University in due time.

Overwhelmed by the turn-out of the board results, the batch trooped back today to its alma mater to pay homage to the brand of education that made this feat possible. CET dean Clydelle Rondaris, also in reference to the recent Chemical Engineering board turnout of 75% passing rate that is equally commendable, said that "this success of the Civil Engineering department is a by-product of the overall efforts of the University and its stakeholders to realize more gains and a stronger reputation."
